Hey there, fellow anglers! We’re Simon and Jenny Anderson, and we took over the reins of the Northland Classic Kayak Fishing competition that was previously run by Viking Kayaks and created the Northland Social. Our first year running the Northland Social was 2023.

Simon has been an avid kayak fisherman for a while now, honing his skills and enjoying the sport. His passion and dedication have been instrumental in making this competition possible. Jenny, on the other hand, jumped on the kayak fishing bandwagon more recently (late 2022), inspired by Simon’s unwavering enthusiasm and sick of being left behind . Together, we make an unstoppable team!

This event is a labor of love for us, and we are committed to making it a memorable experience for all participants. So, whether you’re a seasoned angler or a beginner dipping your paddle into the world of kayak fishing, we welcome you with open arms.
